ISB Finance Corporation is a stock corporation under the industry of financial activities and sub-industry of financing company operations. Its purpose is to engage in the business of extending credit to consumers, industrial, commercial or agricultural enterprises by direct lending or by discounting or factoring commercial papers or accounts receivable, or by buying and selling contracts, leases, chattel mortgages, or other evidences of indebtedness, or by financial leasing of movable as well as immovable property (Sec 3 of Republic Act No 8556 known as the Financing Company Act of 19980. Provided, however, that there shall be continuing compliance of SEC Memorandum Circulars on 1) Prohibition of Unfair Debt Collection Practices of Financing Companies (FC) and Lending Companies (LC) and 20 Disclosure Requirements on Advertisements for Financing Companies and Lending Companies and Reporting of Online Lending Platforms (MC Nos. 18 and 19, Series of 2019, respectively)
